In fact, the distribution rights of the film were picked up instantly thanks to the remarkable influence of this promo.
Vikram Bhatt [he's penned the story] falls back on the formula of the 1970s and 1980s, when vendetta fares ruled the roost. In HATE STORY, the protagonist seeks vengeance and uses her sexuality as a weapon to settle scores with the wrong-doers. A compelling plot that has the potential to keep the viewer captivated, the film tantalizes and teases the spectator thanks to the intrepid dare bare scenes by Paoli Dam, but is quite unpersuasive at certain junctures as well.

Aisha (Hindi: आईशा) is a 2010 Hindi romantic comedy film directed by Rajshree Ojha and starring Sonam Kapoor and Abhay Deol in the lead roles. The film was released on 6 August 2010.The film is a modern day adaptation of the 1815 British novel, Emma by Jane Austen, a 'comedy of manners' set in the upper class society of Delhi, India. Aisha is a girl with a simple problem - she has to take others problems into her own hands; and match-making amongst her friends in particular.

Aloo Chaat is a Bollywood romantic comedy starring Aftab Shivdasani, Aamna Sharif, Linda Arsenio, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Sanjay Mishra, and Manoj Pahwa. The film is directed by Robbie Grewal, whose previous work includes films like Samay: When Time Strikes and MP3 - Mera Pehla Pehla Pyaar.

Gangster (Hindi: गैंग्स्टर) is a 2006 Hindi film that premiered on 28 April. The film stars Shiney Ahuja, Emraan Hashmi and Kangna Ranaut. The plot is that of a bar girl who falls in love with two people, one a layman and the other a gangster. The music is composed by Pritam Chakraborty. The film was rumored to be based on the life of mobster Abu Salem and former actress Monica Bedi but the director Mahesh Bhatt said that the film is not based on any real people or incidents.

"Jail" tells the story of Parag Dixit (Neil Nitin Mukesh) who is having a peaceful life with his girlfriend Mansi, played by Mugdha Godse. But his life takes a turn and he ends up in jail due to some unfortunate events. The film is a take on the cruel realities faced by prisoners in Indian jails by focusing on Parag's life in the jail.
